Blasting Off: Experiential Learning Project and Conference

by | Jul 16, 2019 | News

TEL Library has announced its new Experiential Learning Project, an initiative to create openly licensed learning modules that focus on knowledge mastery through course projects.  Throughout the project, TEL will be working with schools and institutions, instructors, and students to design learning modules that require students to apply course information to local situations and projects. TEL will launch experiential learning modules for three courses this fall: Introduction to Communication, American Government, and Introduction to Information Technology.

In addition, TEL will host a free, one-day Experiential Learning Conference on September 12. The conference will feature teachers, administrators, and educational thought leaders in panel discussions and hands-on experiential learning sessions.

Both the Experiential Learning Project and Experiential Learning Conference are made possible by a generous grant from the Charles Koch Foundation.
