Schools must have flexible options to meet the needs of their students. That means having flexible delivery models that can work for in-person classrooms as well as remote learners. It also means creating flexible learning paths for students to work at a pace that makes sense for them. These types of options support students so they can be successful in their learning goals.
At TEL Education, we’ve been focused on flexible dual-credit options from the day we launched. And now we are excited to have a new partner just as committed to flexible learning options for high school.
TEL Education is partnering with Edgenuity, a leading provider of online curriculum and instructional services for the K-12 market.
For more than 20 years, Edgenuity has been bridging the gap between education and technology to provide customizable solutions to fit the individual needs of schools and districts across the United States.
“The partnership with Edgenuity allows TEL Education to extend our affordable college-credit program to a much wider and more diverse network of schools and students,” said TEL Executive Director Dr. Rob Reynolds. “We are incredibly excited to see the ways that our work together will expand the reach of our mission to provide equitable access to families and students across the U.S.”
Edgenuity helps more than 20,000 schools with a variety of curricular needs, including core curriculum, credit recovery, and test preparation. When their schools requested an option for dual credit, the team turned to TEL.
“Edgenuity is proud to further its commitment to empowering the whole learner with an affordable dual-credit partner that is widely transferable, to better prepare students for college and career success,” said Kinsey Rawe, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Courseware and Instructional Services.
TEL Education will provide its growing catalog to any Edgenuity partner school interested in offering online dual credit courses to its students. The partner school will select one of TEL’s 10 regionally accredited transcribing partners, identifying the college or university where their students would earn credit from after successfully completing the dual-credit course.
Edgenuity partners also receive TEL’s multi-layered support, including our proactive Student Coaches, who help students with time management, study skills, and reach out to students who are starting to fall behind.
Edgenuity, a leading provider of online curriculum and instructional services for the K-12 market, is in use by more than 20,000 schools nationwide, including 20 of the 25 largest school districts, to meet academic goals and improve student outcomes. Edgenuity’s full suite of solutions is aimed at helping students, educators, and districts achieve success in their online and blended learning programs. For students, Edgenuity offers learning solutions including initial credit courses, honors, and Advanced Placement courses, credit recovery, intervention, and test readiness. Edgenuity additionally supports educators through a high-quality digital-first core curriculum provided by LearnZillion, as well as professional development solutions to help educators plan and deliver powerful, lasting learning experiences.
